Town Clean Up

Hollis Town Common

Annual town clean up.  Meet at the Town Common at 10:00 a.m.  Bring gloves, clippers, rakes and tarps and be prepared to get dirty.  Clean up locations are the Town Hall, Lawrence Barn and Beebe Garden.

Orchid Mounting Workshop

Gathering Greens

Annual gathering greens in preparation for our Wreath Workshop.  Bring your clippers and large plastic bags and prepare to scope the wooded area and clip laurel and other greens that will embellish the wreaths and swags that will be placed on the town buildings and areas including: Town Common, Police Station, Fire Station, Library, Town Hall, and Lawrence Barn.   We finish our morning with a light pot luck lunch.

Wreath and Greens Workshop

Bring your clippers, gloves, pruning shears and your creativity.  We will decorate and embellish wreaths and swags and will then proceed to place them around town, including the Town Hall, Library, Common and monuments, Fire Station, Police Station, Wheeler House and Lawrence Barn.  These beautiful wreaths and swags provide a lovely seasonal look around town. Social and workshop:  9:00 until all wreaths and swags are complete, followed by hanging wreaths and swags throughout town.
