Lilacs, New Hampshire’s State Flower

Speaker:  Barbara Rollins, Member of the Governor's Lilac and Wildflower Commission The oldest lilacs in NH date back to 1750.  They are located at the Wentworth-Coolidge Mansion in Portsmouth.  The purple lilac, Syringa Vulgaris, is our official state flower.  They can live for centuries and there are 1500 named varieties. Design with Vines

Annual Plant Sale

Our Annual Plant Sale is held on the Saturday before Mother's Day.  We will have over 2,000 plants to sell, including sun perennials, shade perennials, ground covers, native plants, annuals, hanging baskets, herbs, small shrubs and trees, small Mother's Day arrangements and much more.  Our gardeners are busy in the fall and spring digging, splitting and potting thousands of perennials. Annual Business Meeting

Annual Field Trip and Tour

June 21 @ 9:00 am - 3:00 pm

Members will be traveling to Tower Hill Botanical Gardens in Massachusetts.  Members will be provided information about the field trip, guided tour and optional box lunch. Information will be sent to members in advance.  Car pools will leave from Lawrence Barn.  This is a members only event.
