Zoom meeting ” Trees and plants that Love Living in New Hampshire”

March 2 @ 9:00 am - 11:30 am

Amherst Garden Center owner, John Cochran and Dave, who works at the garden center, will talk about all types of trees, shrubs, flowers and English gardens.  They will speak about the types of trees and plants that do well in New Hampshire and are not eaten by deer and other NH critters.  They will also give tips on keeping gardens healthy.   This will be a zoom event.  Members will be sent information needed to login.

Zoom Meeting “Enjoying Our Gardens All Year”

Speaker:  Warren Leach, owner of Tranquil Lake Nursery Warren Leach is a Landscape Horticulturist.  He will introduce plants and planting combinations to extend your garden enjoyment.  You can enjoy colorful and fragrant flowers even in January.  Learn about plant combinations that will keep you blooming through the seasons.  This is not a fanciful ideal and you don't need a heated greenhouse or conservatory. This will be a zoom event.  Members will be sent information needed to login.

“Gardening Will Kill You”

Speaker:  Neal Sanders, noted author and humorist.  Neal will share his humor and explain why you should never give a gardener a flower show ticket and why rock walls keep growing long after they're supposedly finished.  These and other questions keep him awake at night. This will possibly be a zoom event.  If the temperature permits, we will meet at the Lawrence Barn and open all the doors.  Members will be sent information prior to the meeting.
