The Colonial Garden Club of Hollis awards annual scholarship(s) to graduating high school seniors based on the following:
The candidate must be accepted at an accredited university, college or community college.
- The scholarship is available for students majoring in: Agriculture, Floriculture, Horticulture, Landscape Design, Conservation, Forestry, City Planning, Environmental Studies, Land Management, or Botany.
- The scholarship will be awarded by the Club’s Scholarship Committee after evaluating all applications. Applications must include:
a. Full name and address
b. Copy of high school transcript
c. Name of college/university where you have been accepted and plan to attend
d. List of clubs, activities, athletics, and volunteer work
e. A 250-word essay outlining how you hope to apply your future skills/abilities or future college/career goals in an effective and responsible manner to impact your community for the better
f. Two letters of recommendation
Application deadline April 8, 2023.
